ABOUT THE POWERTURNS:
How easy are Powerturns easy to use?
Our instructors will give a short safety briefing to every driver. Most people pick them up very quickly and are soon confident on them within 5 minutes.
How fast do they go?
The Powerturns are capable of going 30mph but we will often set the courses up to concentrate more on manoevring rather than just going fast as anyone can go fast in a straight line!
Can anyone drive a Powerturn?
Pretty much, as long as they are over 16 years of age (Passenger rides can be given to over 12s). However, no one under the influence of alcohol or drugs is allowed to use the Powerturns.
What sort of events have the Powerturns been used for?
They have proved to be a hit on corporate team builds, fun days, reward days, multi activity days, birthday parties, stag/hen do's, TV shows, etc.
WHAT ALTITUDE PROVIDES:
Our Kit
All of our drivers and passengers are kitted out with top quality full face safety helmets and the machines are kept clean and presentable. There is no Altitude branding on the buggies so they are perfect for use on corporate days.
Experienced instructor
During every session we run there will be an experienced instructor on hand to offer advice and guidance to all drivers on how to handle the Powerturns.
Tailor made sessions
Session content varies according to a whole host of variables (size of group, age of group, reason for booking, duration of booking, etc) and can be tailor made to suit your requirements. Sessions can be run to focus on team development and communication or just as a fun blast around a field in something a bit different! So, give us a call and we can come up with a plan that meets all your aims and expectations.

WHAT YOU NEED:
What should I wear?
Whatever you want! Tho we would suggest old clothes as you may get dusty in the Summer or muddy in the Winter.
How much space do I require to operate the Powerturns?
We will operate accordingly to the space on offer. Ideally we would like an area of flattish grass about half a football pitch in size, but the more space you can provide the better!
SAFETY:
How safe is it?
Sessions are run by fully trained, 1st aid qualified, CRB checked, and experienced staff. Hire costs include the mandatory use of helmets and seatbelts are worn by all drivers and passengers. We also operate with £5million public liability insurance and have full risk assessments.
Does the weather affect the Powerturns?
The Powerturns are fully waterproof and can be used all year round. However, should it be very wet, prepare for your field (and your guests!) to get a little muddy!
PRICES/REQUIREMENTS:
How much do they cost to hire?
We will quote according to your requirements as every job is so different, please contact us for a competitive quote. Location, running time and type of useage will all affect the final quote. If we provide more than just the Powerturns to your event we may be able to offer a deal.
Do we have to pay anything else?
Everything will be included in our quote – Powerturn hire, petrol, delivery, staffing, safety kit hire and insurance. There will be no hidden extras.
How do I book?
Give us a call or send an e-mail and we can check your desired date(s) for availability and give you a quote. Then, go to the ‘How To Book’ section, read the booking conditions and print off a booking form. Once filled in, return it to us along with payment. Then sit back and count down the days until we arrive!
Are there options to customize our hire to advertise a product or event?
Staff uniform can be tailored to advertise a chosen product or event.
How far will Altitude travel for an event?
Although we are based in the South East, we will travel anywhere to do an event. However, if it is very far from our base, the price will reflect this. Please contact us for further information if this is something that you would be interested in.
